Richard Purvis with new book
Richard Purvis, who was a paediatrician at Dorset County Hospital and also the Medical Director, has written a History of Dorchester Paediatrics. He has done this since he retired a few years ago and the book is full of fantastic anecdotes and photos. The book was launched at the Children’s Centre in Damers Road, Dorchester, and Rob Mott went along and spoke to Dr Purvis about his long career at DCH and the new book.
